The Notary Chamber of Georgia continues the action: “Free Legal Advices” for the population of municipalities this time. Meetings will be held in public centers.

The first meeting was held at the Mukhaestate Public Center (Kobuleti region) today.

The goal of this action was to raise the legal awareness of the population. In fact, the citizens need the legal education. One of the main reasons for property loss, becoming a victim of transaction, often rudiments, is the lack of knowledge of legal issues. Citizens are often unaware of what rights they have to the succession, how and in what period they are entitled to receive the succession certificate, which contract is better to conclude for ensuring their property to be protected, what property rights they have during marriage or after divorce ...

The Notaries have introduced the local population their rights and obligations during signing the transaction, when receiving the succession. What should they know not to incur losses, not to lose their property, to protect their rights. The population will get legal advice on other issues they are interested in.

The action will last until September and cover all municipalities of Georgia.
