NOTARIES CONSIDERED A DRAFT OF LEGISLATIVE CHANGES

The Notary Chamber of Georgia organized a working meeting for notaries at the Kvareli Branch of the Justice Educational Center.

Notaries discussed a draft of legislative changes. Particularly, the draft of the provision “On Disciplinary Liability”, prepared by the Board of the Notary Chamber of Georgia, was considered. Participants of the meeting presented their own proposals and opinions regarding the legislative changes, which consequently will be stipulated in the draft.

 At the meeting generalization of notary practice and relevant for notaries issues were considered as well.

At the first stage the working meeting regarding legislative changes was attended by some of notaries. The second stage is planned for the 23^rd-24^th of August.

The Notary Chamber of Georgia systematically organizes workshops and working meetings for notaries. Twice a year there are obligatory workshops, where notaries consider relevant and problematic issues.
