Notaries provided the legal consultations for Citizens in Koda Public Center

The Notary Chamber of Georgia continues its action: “Fee Legal Advice”. The meetings have been already held in Public Centers of Mukhaestate, Kachreti, Chakvi and Kabali. At this time the Notaries met the population in Koda where one of the main issues of the meeting was to conclude a deal. The notaries introduced the advantages of the notarial agreement to the citizens. The following was emphasized in the meeting: “the notary equally defends the interest of any contracting party, she/he explains the rights, obligations, contents of the agreement, warns the parties what consequences may result from non-fulfillment of obligations. She/he will herself/himself register the mortgage agreement in the Public Registry and there is no need for the citizen to apply to the Public Service Hall or the National Agency of Public Registry. In case of failure to fulfill the contractual obligations, the notary will issue an enforcement order and the citizen will not appeal to the court”.

Koda’s population received the legal consultations on other issues interesting to them: what should they know not to incur losses, not to lose the property, to timely receive the succession, to protect their own rights and etc. The goal of the action was to increase the legal awareness of the population. Citizens really need legal education. One of the main reasons for the loss of property, becoming a victim of the transaction is the lack of knowledge of legal issues
